BANGKOK TENS 2006
WINNING BECOMES A HABIT
Following the clubs first ever trophy (combined with their first ever wins!!) we traveled to Bangkok full of confidence to compete in the Bangkok Tens.
With new tie-dye shirts and a Good Viagarations Theme for the tour, the champagne rugby played could almost have been choreographed to a Beach Boys tune.
It was first points to the Viagrabonds before the first game even started as they completed the signing of Aussie Glamour Queen Angus Kerr (second from left in bottom row....what a hunk!!!), stealing him from under the noses of the 'Old Bangkok Sausages' or whatever they are called.
However, it didn't go all the Viagrabonds way on the pitch, a (now) rare defeat condemned the team to the Bowl competition on the second day. But the appearance of such a traditional heavyweight in with the minnows could only result in one outcome.
Yes, once again The Dule had his hands on some silverware!!!!
The performance in the final by the team, many of whom are immortalised above was nothing short of astonishing.
Beer was downed in fast furious action, all in aid of avoiding playing any actual rugby.
Tourist of the week and winner of HotDogs superb home crafted silver plated Heineken keg was BILLY BOY. He won it for being honest.
